Mr. Dolan joined the firm of Berman & Clark in 1983. He became a partner with that firm which later became known as Berman, Gaglione, Dolan & Tetreault. While at that firm, Mr. Dolan was a partner in charge of all real estate broker and appraiser defense matters. Mr. Dolan left the firm in September of 1994 to form Gaglione & Dolan.

After receiving his undergraduate degree from Boston College, he received his Juris Doctorate from Pepperdine University in 1983. Bob specializes in the area of professional malpractice defense litigation. He has successfully defended matters filed against attorneys, insurance agents and brokers and numerous real estate professionals, including realtors, appraisers, escrow officers and inspectors throughout the State of California. In addition, Bob has handled a variety of employment practices claims, both in the litigation context and as investigations brought by governmental agencies. Bob’s practice also includes the defense of general liability claims, most of which involve the defense of homeowners associations and their boards of directors.

His litigation efforts include the use of alternative dispute resolution and settlement negotiation skills appropriately applied in order to resolve matters in a cost-effective manner. When settlement efforts are unsuccessful, Bob has had a great deal of success in the trial of State and Federal Court matters.

Bob is a member of the Southern California Defense Counsel and the Defense Research Institute.
